The Women's Human Rights Campaign changes name to Women's Declaration International

The Declaration on Women's Sex-Based Rights, launched in March 2019, is a women`s collective effort to protect our sex-based rights from the harm done by the replacement of the category of sex with that of ‘gender identity’. Since then we’ve grown into a worldwide grassroots community of women with 51 country contacts, around 30,000 individual signatures and 409 organisations from 157 countries. Hence we have decided that our name should reflect our global reach. From January 2022, the Women's Human Rights Campaign (WHRC) will be known as Women's Declaration International (WDI). Our goals remain the same: the protection of women and girls’ sex-based rights.
