China opens first 'gender clinic' for children

Medics in Shanghai have opened China's first 'gender identity' clinic for children.'Doctors said the clinic was necessary after seeing cases including an adolescent girl who liked playing with cars, disliked wearing skirts and suffered anxiety and depression after puberty.' 

BBC leaves Stonewall

The BBC has announced that it has withdrawn from Stonewall's Diversity Champions scheme and Workplace Equality Index. 

Dutch bank closes women's group's bank account for 'discrimination'

BUNQ, a Dutch bank has closed the bank account belonging to women's rights group, Voorzij, because the feminist group does not believe that men can be women. 

Girl suspended after reporting sexual assault in US school

A girl who reported that a boy had harassed and sexually assaulted her has been suspended from a school in North Carolina and is required to attend a class called 'Sexual Harassment is Preventable'. 

Scottish Prison Service to review prisons policy

The Scottish Prison Service is planning 'a series of conversations' about its policy of sending men to women's prisons if they claim a trans identity. 

CIAMS holds rallies against surrogacy in Belgium and Spain

The International Coalition for the Abolition of Surrogate Motherhood held rallies at two surogacy fairs, in Brussels and Bilbao, last weekend.

Marks & Spencer, a famous British retailer, has begun offering 'pronoun badges' to its staff as part of a 'diversity and inclusivity' exercise. 

Australian University seeks gender inquisitor

The University of Melbourne is looking for a 'Senior Adviser - Gender Affirmation' to 'provide evidence-based support in assisting staff and students to develop and implement their gender affirmation plan'. Duties will include assisting 'transgender and gender diverse staff and students and staff to engage with the University and external reporting or complaint processes'.

Man beats girl at Brazilian school

4W reports on footage that shows a man pulling a girl out of a female bathroom by her hair and then beating and kicking her. 

Medical college releases position statement on 'gender dysphoria' treatment
