Emma Bateman, newly elected co-chair of the women's committee of the Green Party of England and Wales, has been attacked by various groups within the Green Party for signing the Declaration. Congratulations to Emma on her win!

Disabled woman arrested for stickering in Wales

Gwent Police arrested a disabled woman who uses a mobility scooter for putting up stickers that read '3+ women a week killed by men'. She was held for 12 hours, her house was searched and she was later released alone at 3.30am to find her own way home without her phone, which the police kept. Following her release Gwent Police issued a statement which repeated the lie that stickers have been found with glass/pins/razor blades underneath. Lesbian conference has man as keynote speaker

The 25th Lesbian Lives conference will take place at the University of Cork. Keynote speaker is Susan Stryker, a heterosexual man.

Convicted toddler rapist performs community outreach work for trans organiastion

Trans rights organisation, the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, has recruited a man convicted of multiple sexual offences against a 3 year old girl to carry out community outreach work. The man, now calling himself Xena Grandichelli, has spoken at several prestigious universities on the subject of women's incarceration. 

Pennsylvania Democrats in bid to remove sex from official documents

Democratic senators in Pennsylvania have introduced a bill that will remove sex markers from birth certificates. 

NCAA reaffirms commitment to allowing men into women's competitions

Following the controversy surrounding male swimmer Lia Thomas's victories in women's competitions, the NCAA has reaffirmed its commitment to including men in female sport, despite protests from female athletes and parents. 

EHRC calls for pre-legislative scrutiny of UK 'conversion therapy' bill...

Nearing the end of the consultation process, the EHRC has called for pre-legislative scrutiny of the controversial 'conversion therapy' bill in the UK. 

...and writes to the Scottish government about GRA reform

The EHRC have also written to the Scottish government about GRA reform, raising 'concerns about the potential implications of changing the current criteria for obtaining a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC)'.

Heather Brunskell-Evans and Michele Moore edited this book, which was recently taken from a Welsh woman's house by police investigating her for 'hate crime'. It contains essays written by clinicians, psychologists, sociologists, educators, parents and de-transitioners.
