WDI Portugal calls for an end to prostitution

WDI Portugal launched a public note calling for the end of the prostitution system, following a petition that was introduced into the Assembly of the Republic for debate regarding the legalisation of prostitution as 'a job' and depenalisation of the crime of procuring 'without coercion' on 1 June. On 29 June, we launched an open letter to the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto in repudiation of the institution for their legitimising the term 'TERF' and the hatred of women it implies, by letting it be used in the title of a lecture organised at this academy.
