NGO CSW and its anti-feminist principles

NGO CSW (the NGO part of the UN's Commission on the Status of Women, last week issued an incoherent document 'An Affirmation of Feminist Principles', which exhorts people and organisations to sign their pledge encouraging states, the UN and NGOs to adopt gender theory. Antifa organise a protest outside an LA spa after woman complains about a naked man in the women's section. Masked protestors attack a lone woman. Following the protests 4W reported on an earlier incident at this particular spa where a naked man got into a jacuzzi with a child. 

UK judgment says it is 'lawful' for men to be placed in women's prisons

A UK court last week ruled it is lawful to house male prisoners, including sex offenders, in the female estate. 

Sydney City Council defunds Feminist Legal Clinic

Sydney City Council has voted to terminate Feminist Legal Clinic's subsidised lease. This decision will impede the ability of Feminist Legal Clinic Inc. to assist victims of domestic and sexual abuse. The council has given no reason for its decision to downgrade FLC’s rating, other than its objection to FLC's work in supporting women's sex-based rights. At the same meeting, Sydney City Council voted to approve an ad hoc grant for $500,000 cash sponsorship for Sydney World Pride Limited.

High Court in Madras bans attempts to 'cure' gender identity

Following a petition by two women in a relationship who sought court protection from their families, Justice Venkatesh ordered a ban on 'conversion therapy' to include 'gender identiy' as well as homosexuality. 

Male athlete takes place of woman in Canadian archery team

Stephanie Barrett, a 42 year old male, has qualified for a place in the Canadian women's archery team for the Tokyo Olympics.

WHRC Brazil asks Alagoas' Public Attorney to guarantee the rights of women and girls to have sex-separated toilets

WHRC Brazil has filed an application this Tuesday (29) to the Public Prosecutor of Alagoas, Márcio Roberto Tenório. WHRC Brazil expects to raise awareness with the Public Attorney about the impact of a possible second instance conviction of security guard José Rui de Góis. Based on Brazilian's Law of Racism, Góis was sentenced by allegedly trying to stop a male person from accessing women's toilets at Shopping Parque Maceió: 18 months of imprisonment and the payment of 10 times the Brazilian minimum wage. The judge ruled that his conduct constituted a discrimination "against gender identity" and based the ruling on a 2019 Supreme Court decision.

CATW issues letter against including prostitution in feminism

The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women has issued a letter in response to CSW NGO's 'Affirmation of Feminist Principles' which states that prostitution should never be considered feminist. You can sign up here.
